Structure of Part time Certificate and Diploma courses in Music and Dance
- Certificate: Diploma courses would be run by Bharati Vidyapeeth through school of Performing Arts.
These Certificate and Diploma Courses in Music / Dance are been approved by the Department of Cultural Affairs Government of Maharashtra. Government of Maharashtra has approved Bharati Viddyapeeth to teach these courses and also approved to conduct the examination. Students will get the benefit of this. student who will give Three examinations will get 10 extra Marks and Student who will give Five examinations will get 15 extra Marks at the time of taking admission in 11th standard.
- Any student who is desirous of taking admission to these Certificate & Diploma Courses in Music / Dance can do so by simply registering his / her name with School of Performing Arts and on payment of the fees for the concerned Certificate & Diploma Course in Music / Dance.
- Since these courses are intended to be offered to those students who have interest not only in seeking the theoretical knowledge of the subject but learn the science of basics of their Performing Arts. And therefore the emphasis will be mainly laid on the practical aspects of the subject e.g. postures of body, movements, synchronization, expressions & so on. It is therefore proposed that there will not be minimum paper qualification for admission to these courses. It is expected that even the school-going children will be eligible to take admission to Certificate Course concerned. It has been the practice to admit such children to such type of courses throughout the world. The sole purpose of introducing such type of Certificate & Diploma Courses in Music / Dance is to help budding artistes to exhibit and show their artistic talent to the world.
- To start with, the training to these registered students will be exclusively under Gurukul system, as is prevalent in U.G. & P.G. Courses of School of Performing Arts.
- The structure of the courses will be broadly modular form, as mentioned bellow

Note: It is proposed that there should be an Annual Pattern of examination to recommend the structure of fees for these courses including modules.
The examination cycles will be of two ways.
- In December: The student can join in December for December Cycle
- In June: The student can join in June for June Cycle
